Highlights from NRF Retail’s Big Show 2017

The star studded Retail’s Big Show just finished up this week with celebrity speakers; Richard Branson, Kobe Bryant, and other leaders in retail and technology Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, headlining the convention.  Research is finding that consumers across all age groups are now more willing to spend money on experiences than material things. New solutions from leading technology companies were introduced in the lineup to spearhead the big challenges facing the retail industry in the era of ecommerce.

Here are a few highlights of the big tech announcements from the 2017 National Retail Federation Big Show addressing the biggest trend affecting retail today: online shopping. Some are in fear of the changes that ecommerce will bring, while others are embracing it to get ahead of the curve. Both solutions provide the flexibility for applications ranging from warehouse operations management to line-busting customer service to retail kiosks.
